ACI Model 55116 Tire Manipulator
ACI has developed a complete line of tire manipulators with capacity up to 12,000 lbs. ACI has added many new features that have never been offered in the past. Many of the new improvements have been developed from our experience of remanufacturing hands over the past seven years and listening to the complaints from the men in the field that use this equipment every day. We have made improvements in the areas that we found to be inadequate to withstand the normal operating conditions. ACI installs heavy duty belting type bumpers for the hand to rest on in travel position. ACI has equipped each hand with a lifting eye and a light in the center of the hand for night work along with many other features

ACI Model 55116 Tire Manipulator has the capacity of 5500#, clamping range of 44" to 104" with the all new tear-drop style extension pads and from 56" to 116" without the extension pads. Maximum tire sizes would be 27.00-49 and 40.65-39. This model is also available with fixed gripping pads in lieu of the hydraulic rotating gripping pads |

The ACI Model 55116 has many features not seen on hands in the past: hydraulic rotating pads, extension pads that really work and pushing feet built in to the pads to eliminate slipping off of the flange ring when depressing the flange ring assemblies. The ACI 65128 is a big brother to this unit with its 6500# capacity, clamping range of 44" to 104" with extension pads in place and 68" to 128" without the extension pads. Maximum tire sizes would be 33.00-51 and 45.65-45. This model is also available with fixed gripping pads in lieu of the hydraulic rotating gripping pad. |

The ACI clamping pad is equipped with large gripping teeth for secure handling of all sizes of OTR tires. The standard pad is adaptable to either the standard style or the all new ACI Tear-Drop extension pads. |

ACI has developed a heavy duty link arm with standard pin sizes that will adapt to either the FEC or IMT cranes. The new ACI H.D. models are equipped with a totally different arrangement that eliminates the excessive wear on pins and bushings. ACI pins and bushings have approximately five times more life expectancy over the standard units offered today. |

The ACI Heavy Duty Tear-Drop extension pads are designed and built for rugged use. They are easy to get off and back on with only two nuts to hold it in place. The original gripping pad and the extension pad are both equipped with the new pushing feet. |

ACI offers hydraulic rotating pads on all hands. Note that the hydraulic cylinders are located on the underside of the arms for protection from wheel and rim parts damaging the cylinder rods. ACI can convert all IMT and FEC hands to hydraulic rotating pads. By converting to the ACI gripping pad system you can add the ACI Tear-Drop extensions pads to your hand. |

The ACI Tear-Drop extension pads are easy to install and remove. It is the only adapter that will allow you to get in under the fender and grip the small tires. Less then five inches of clearance is required for the ACI Tear-Drop extension pad. |
