ACI All New Tire Manipulator:
Tire Manipulators have been around since 1971. Tire technicians rely
on the hands to make their work safer and faster. The basic hand design
has not changed since it was introduced.
ACI redesigned the hand to perform the task of changing OTR tires with
ease and in the most efficient time. ACI has increased the working range
of the hand, allowing the hand to handle a wider range of tire sizes without
the use of adapters.

The ACI Model 55116B hand is available with a choice of open to close settings, depending on the range of tire sizes to be handled: 30'' closed to 110'' open, 36'' closed to 116'' open or 43'' close to 123'' open. Each model can attain these detentions without the use of extension pads. The maximum weight rating is 6800 lbs. |

Each hand is equipped with two work lights, one lifting hook, two heavy duty dock bumpers for the hand to rest on in travel position, and a hydraulic flow divider for even travel of the clamping arms. |

ACI offers the heavy duty tear-drop style gripping pad with replaceable gripping teeth. Each pad is equipped with a pushing foot on the end of the pad to prevent slipping when pushing on the wheel components. |

ACI offers both fixed and hydraulic rotating gripping pads. The hydraulic cylinders are designed with a slide arm rod protector to prevent cylinder rod damage. |

ACI hands are equipped with heavy duty wear pads located on each side of the clamping; this eliminates the excessive play in the arms which is found in all other models. The wear pads are easily changed by removing four bolts holding the pad retainer. |

The hands-to-crane connecting pins have always been the weak point of the entire system; ACI has completely redesigned this area of our hands. We will guarantee our link arm connector and the connecting pins for the life of the hand. |
